The first half of this is a really excellent read The sections on instruction sets, execution piplines etc, give a great description of the reality of CPUs as the electrical level The section on GPUs is good but the sections that follow are less detailed The first half is excellent though, and worth the price entirely on their own.

A really nice introduction to computer architecture in the context of the Raspberry Pi Although I can see it being used as a school level CS reference, it really is well written and engaging enough to read from cover to cover.
